About the Guide

Based on the MG photo color code guide and Theo van den Bogaard's Mini Color schemes pages, this is a photographic account of every standard factory paint colour available on the BMC/BL/Rover Mini.

Due to issues with the fidelity of colour reproduction on photographs and computer monitors, the sample colours in this guide should not be taken as definitive. It is simply an example of each colour in place on a car. You should consult a paint factor for accurate details.

Note that this site is for the RealMini as designed by Sir Alec Issigonis, otherwise known as BMC Mini, Austin Se7en, Morris Mini-Minor, BL Mini, Rover Mini. All variants are covered including the Wolseley Hornet, Riley Elf and Mini Moke. We are not interested in information on BMW's small(ish) car bearing the MINI name.
